Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Countdown Banner, operated by Countdown Banner ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Countdown Banner lets you upload banner images, set countdown end times, and place countdown clocks on websites and in emails using code we provide. We host your clocks and banner images so they can be shown wherever you place the code.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. Give us accurate information and keep your email address current so we can reach you about your account and billing.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page. When you cancel, your countdowns keep working until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't charge you again. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable. If a payment fails, we may pause your countdowns until it's resolved. We'll give you advance notice of any price change.

Your content

You keep ownership of the banners and text you upload. You give us permission to store, resize and display them as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload and that it isn't illegal, misleading, infringing, or harmful. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to send spam, to mislead people about prices or deadlines in ways that break consumer-protection laws, or to overload, probe or interfere with the service. Unlimited plans are subject to reasonable use; we'll contact you before taking action if your usage is unusually high.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Email apps and website platforms differ in how they show countdowns, and we aren't responsible for how third-party software displays them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. When an account ends, its clocks stop showing countdowns.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
